The three things I've learned is Nation and Identity, Shaping Nationalism and Oka Crisis.
For Nation and Identity i learned what a Nation means people. Many people think an nation is a country with physical territories but it's not its a group of different people or people of the same culture that make up a nation. Canada actually felt like a nation after the Vimy War in France. Thats when Canada Became a nation. Vimy gave Canada Canadians pride. Nation- State means " country " and International means " between countries "
Shaping Nationalism in France there would be the Estate General . In your third estate you would have commoners they are the poor people. Second estate would be middle, these would be bourgeoisie they would be more lawyers teachers and doctors. First estate would be clergy your rich people kings and queens." Let Them Eat Cake "
In 1990 there was a big crisis between Oka and Mohawk people. Oka wanted to extend a golf course onto Mohawk land, but the Mohawk set up road block and a camp they wanted to stop this golf course for happening on there land. On July 11 Quebec Provincial Police force was ordered to brake up the protest. There was shooting and one police got killed. The protest ended on September 26. Many protesters faced criminal chargers and almost all found guilty.
